Wild West and Wizards

Wild West and Wizards launched out of Early Access on April 28, 2020. Following launch, Lavaboots Studios shipped two major content updates: the Settlers and Bounty Hunters update on June 23, 2020, and the Expanded Assassin's Guild update on September 2, 2020. The last recorded developer communication of any kind was a bug fix post on January 4, 2021. Since then — now more than five years ago as of June 2026 — the developer has posted nothing publicly about the game. The only DLC ever listed is the game's soundtrack, which released on June 15, 2020. No additional DLC, expansions, or unshipped content has been announced or listed on the store. The launch post from April 28, 2020 mentioned that Lavaboots was also working on Salt 2, signaling that the studio had moved its primary focus to a new project even at the time of Wild West and Wizards' full release. The two major post-launch content drops (June and September 2020) appear to represent the natural wind-down of active support. With no developer communications since January 4, 2021, no unreleased content listed anywhere, and no roadmap or promises of future updates outstanding, the game's content is complete.
