Willy-Nilly Knight launched into Early Access on May 18, 2017 and reached its full 1.0 release on November 10, 2017. The developer, a two-person indie studio, was actively patching and improving the game throughout the EA period and into the weeks following launch. The last recorded developer activity was a patch on December 29, 2017, which added 4K GUI scaling support and fixed a quest bug. Before that, the major Arena mode was added in the December 22, 2017 update — a notable post-launch content addition. The only DLC, a Collector's Expansion Pack, was released on launch day and has shipped. No further updates, announcements, or developer communications have been made since December 29, 2017. The developer's post-launch update activity was concentrated entirely in the two months following the November 10, 2017 release, and there is no evidence of any planned or announced content beyond what has already shipped. The game appears to have concluded its active development phase in late December 2017, with the final patch representing the last communication from the studio.
