Witch and Council : The Card

Witch and Council: The Card launched on December 13, 2024. At launch, the developer stated that updates would continue, and they delivered: a first content update on January 25, 2025 (Ver 1.2.0) added a new playable character (Student Council President Sybilla) and a new chapter ("The Broken Dimension"), along with 15 new monsters, new relics, events, and scrolls. A second major update (Ver 2.0) shipped on March 4, 2025, overhauling the combat tempo and reward system. The last developer communication of any kind was a Spring Sale announcement on March 14, 2025 — now over 18 months ago as of October 1, 2026. The two major post-launch updates were roughly 5–6 weeks apart, but this was a concentrated burst of post-launch polish rather than an established long-term content cadence. The January 2025 update note mentioned upcoming combat tempo improvements as the only specific outstanding commitment — which were then delivered in the March 4, 2025 Ver 2.0 update. With that promise fulfilled, no further specific content was announced or left undelivered. The developer has not communicated at all since March 14, 2025. No roadmap, no new content announcement, no statement about future plans — and no new content has shipped in over 18 months. The short burst of post-launch updates appears to have concluded with Ver 2.0, and the silence since March 2025 far exceeds the 5–6 week cadence of those updates. With no outstanding commitments and silence well beyond any reasonable continuation of the original update cadence, the game is assessed as complete. The last content shipped was Ver 2.0 on March 4, 2025.
