Woah Dave! launched on October 30, 2014. In January 2015, the developer teased upcoming content, and on February 25, 2015, they delivered on that promise with "Woah Dave! Deluxe" — a substantial free update adding two new levels, new characters, boss battles, new enemy types, rideable UFOs, and new music. This appears to be the final major content update the game received.
The most recent developer post associated with this game (November 21, 2023) was a promotional announcement for an entirely separate title, BIT.TRIP RERUNNER, not any new content for Woah Dave! itself. There have been no announcements of additional content, roadmaps, or future plans for Woah Dave! since the Deluxe update shipped in February 2015 — over a decade ago. The store description describes only the features present in the Deluxe update with no mention of upcoming content. The game launched as a complete arcade-style experience and has remained unchanged since the Deluxe update. This is a finished product.

The brave players who manage to survive the alien onslaught and collect the most coins will be rewarded with top placement on the fierce online leaderboards. Do you have what it takes to be the world’s best Dave? Or will you end up playing second fiddle to another, more powerful Dave?
Woah Dave! also features a local two-player competitive mode, where two Daves can go head-to-head in a battle to collect the most coins. We aren’t exaggerating when we say it could very well result in ruined friendships and unsalvageable marriages. Competitive games are good like that.
If that isn’t enough Dave for you, there’s also Bonkers Mode with more aliens, more lava, and more chances to get killed. Those who brave the storm will be rewarded with a splendor of precious coinage; those who fail will be revoked of their License to Dave.
