Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is a classic 2003 multiplayer shooter that was originally released for free by Splash Damage and id Software. It re-appeared on Steam on April 26, 2022, as a free-to-play listing — essentially a re-release of the original game on a new storefront, not a new game with ongoing development. The only developer post since the Steam launch is from September 7, 2022, announcing the deployment of official dedicated servers and availability on the Microsoft Store. This is an infrastructure/maintenance update rather than new content. There have been no developer communications of any kind since that date, and no announcements of new maps, features, or expansions have been made. The game shipped as a complete, historically-finished product with its six original maps and five classes unchanged from the 2003 release. There are no DLC listings, no roadmap, and no developer statements suggesting future content. The game is done — it launched complete nearly two decades ago, and the 2022 Steam listing simply made it accessible on a new platform.
