Zcrew launched its official 1.0 version on September 12, 2022, after an Early Access period. At launch, the developer explicitly stated that more content was coming, including new maps, secondary weapons, vehicles, and weapon stat improvements. The game then received a steady stream of updates through its first year: a Christmas patch in December 2022, The Void Realm DLC (free for all owners) on April 20, 2023, the major "Full Frontal Fire" update on September 18, 2023, and a Halloween patch on October 31, 2023. That Halloween patch on October 31, 2023 is the last communication from the developer on any channel. No updates, announcements, patches, or posts of any kind have appeared since then — a gap of over two and a half years as of June 2026. The developer's original launch promise of additional content (vehicles, secondary weapons, new maps) was never formally confirmed as delivered or concluded. Given the extended silence following a previously active update schedule, it is unclear whether development is ongoing or has quietly ended without any official announcement.
