Zelle launched on Steam on October 4, 2019. Following launch, the developer shipped a series of updates: version 1.2 on November 24, 2019 added new notes and battle improvements, a major update (ver 1.3) on April 29, 2020 added 9 additional languages, a new flashback scene, and a side-screen display option, and a final bug fix (ver 1.31) on May 1, 2020 resolved a loading error. No updates of any kind have been posted since May 1, 2020. The only DLC released is the soundtrack, which shipped on the same day as the game itself. The developer's most recent communication (May 20, 2023) was an announcement for an entirely separate new game published under odencat — it mentions Zelle only as a point of creative reference and does not announce any new content for Zelle itself. There are no unreleased DLC items, no roadmap, and no developer statements promising future content for Zelle. The game appears to have reached its finished state with the May 2020 patch.

Now then, you will experience the world of Zelle through the eyes of our young protagonist, Emerada.
Many of our other residents have...eccentric personalities.
A boy who loves to dance, a moon-faced man who adores children, a kind Reaper who will show you the way...
I imagine you'll meet many unique individuals.
Do be careful, however. A multitude of abominable demons reside in this world as well!
You can drive them off by clicking the Rosary you carry, but they will resort to anything to devour you.
Tread carefully.
Isn't it thrilling? Doesn't it get your blood boiling and your body tingling?
What a wonderful world this is.
Does a glimmer of light await you at the end of the tunnel or only the black depths of despair?
