Evaluation

ZombieCards launched on March 3, 2025. At launch, the developer announced a roadmap that included a new Endless Mine Mode, new resources, weapons, and missions, a crafting system, and ongoing character balancing. In the weeks following release, the team was very active — shipping multiple feature patches and bug fixes, and delivering the Endless Mine Mode on March 15, 2025. The last recorded developer update was on March 22, 2025. Since March 22, 2025, there has been no further communication from the developer — no patches, no blog posts, no announcements. As of June 18, 2026, this silence has lasted over 15 months. The roadmap items announced at launch — particularly new resources, weapons, missions, and a crafting system — were never confirmed as delivered. There is no developer statement explaining the pause, and no indication whether those commitments are still being worked on or have been quietly abandoned. The combination of undelivered roadmap promises and extended silence raises meaningful uncertainty about the game's future.
