Evaluation

Zoo Simulator: Prologue is a free, standalone preview released on March 28, 2024, explicitly designed to give players a taste of the full game. The store description and developer communications make clear from the outset that the Prologue is a limited sample — not a product receiving its own ongoing content roadmap. It was always intended to be a finished, self-contained appetizer. The developer's focus shifted entirely to the full game (Zoo Simulator, App ID 2129220) once the Prologue launched. Patches 1.0.1 (March 29, 2024), 1.0.2 (May 14, 2024), and 1.0.3 (July 18, 2024) addressed bugs and optimization in the Prologue while the team was simultaneously building the full version. On July 26, 2024, the developer announced that Zoo Simulator (the full game) had officially launched, and all subsequent developer communications point players toward that product. There are no unreleased DLC items, no announced future content for the Prologue itself, and no roadmap suggesting additional updates. The Prologue served its purpose as a pre-release sampler and is now a static, complete free demo. The last developer communication specific to this product was the July 18, 2024 bug fix patch, and the full game's July 26, 2024 launch post effectively marked the end of the Prologue's active development cycle.
Evidence
Developer announced the full game Zoo Simulator is now available, directing players to the full product. This marks the natural conclusion of the Prologue's purpose.

About this game

The Prologue is only part of the full game and is completely free. Every player will be able to play it and see what awaits them in the full version of the game.

Renovate your Zoo!

In Zoo Simulator: Prologue, one of your first tasks will be to restore the zoo. You will have to put a lot of effort into cleaning neglected alleys and damaged places for your future animals. To do this, you will be using a lot of tools such as welders and water washers. Remember - hard work can result in a crowd of delighted visitors!

Various species of animals

There is no Zoo without the animals living in it, right? In our game, you decide which of them will live in your facility. Remember that the more interesting the specimens live in your zoo, the more people will want to see them, which means more income for your business. Sit down to the computer and choose from the most exotic and amazing animals from around the world!

Arrange runs for animals

Animals from the farthest corners of the world will appear in your zoo, they will also require appropriate living conditions - so you must take care of lairs, hiding places, and plants that will make them happy. There will be a lot of different elements in the game, which you will be able to freely move, position and rotate, thus creating unique zones for animals.

Look after them

In Zoo Simulator: Prologue, you also need to take care of the well-being of your animals, which in return will repay you with peace, good health, and activity in their animal run. Feed them, look after them and pay special attention to their safety - animals love to nibble their nose wherever they have a chance to fit it! Thanks to this, animals will be more likely to show themselves to visitors and win their sympathy.

Develop your Zoo

As you run your business, you will need to develop it as well. There will be more visitors, which means more attractions that will be able to make their time more pleasant. Take care of the right number of public toilets and sanitary facilities, and eating places where they will be able to eat! Also, don't forget to buy interesting new animals. It is extremely important that guests do not want to leave your zoo and will invite their friends.
