Adventure in the Tower of Flight launched on December 23, 2015 and received a series of post-launch updates through mid-2017. The developer shipped meaningful content additions after release: new achievements and difficulty modes in July 2015 (the game was in pre-release development at that point), two new areas (forest and catacombs) in September 2015 (v1.3), and finally a weapon/power-up system overhaul on July 13, 2017. The July 2017 post mentioned two additional intentions — a speedrunner-focused update "in the next couple months" and further end-game tweaks — but neither materialized as announced updates. No posts, patches, or announcements have appeared after July 13, 2017, which is now nearly nine years ago. The only DLC ever listed is the game soundtrack, which released on launch day and is already available. The store description contains no promises of future content, and the developer has made no communications of any kind since July 2017. The game launched as a complete, self-contained retro platformer, and while the developer added content over its first couple of years, all activity has long since ceased. The game is complete.

Story
In ages past, five kingdoms ruled the known world. Each kingdom possessed a sacred relic given to the kings of old by the god themselves. The relics guided and protected their armies in battles. As time passed, younger kings desired to gain absolute power of the land and waged countless wars with each other. The gods were displeased with the reckless actions and greed each kingdom took part in, so they took back the relics, hid them in a large tower, and proclaimed: "Whomever is able to pass the challenges of this tower will become the ruler of all known land." Years passed. generations passed. No one, man woman, or child has been able to complete the challenges within the tower. This is the story of one such adventurer, Wing, and his Adventure in the Tower of Flight.
