Aetheris launched its full 1.0 release on November 7, 2023, after a period in Early Access. Post-launch, Wild Wits released several patches through May 2024 addressing bugs, balance changes, and minor feature tweaks, but no named expansions or major new content drops were ever announced or shipped after the 1.0 release. Both DLC items — the Soundtrack (June 2023) and the Artbook (December 2023) — are purely supplementary extras and have both shipped. The most recent significant communication from Wild Wits was on January 15, 2026, when the studio announced an entirely new game, Sovereign Tower, with a playable demo already available. This post was addressed to "old friends of Aetheris" and made no mention of any future content for Aetheris itself. It reads as a studio moving on to its next project rather than a signal of continued Aetheris development. No roadmap, named DLC, expansion, or future content plan for Aetheris has ever been publicly announced. The update cadence after launch consisted only of maintenance and balance patches, with the last one arriving in May 2024. Given that Wild Wits has publicly shifted focus to a new title, and there has been no Aetheris content communication since May 2024, the game appears to have shipped as a complete product.
