Amnesia: Rebirth launched on October 20, 2020 as a complete, self-contained horror adventure. Following launch, Frictional Games issued several bug-fix patches and, on March 30, 2021, released a free "Adventure Mode" update — the only substantive content addition to the game post-launch. Since that update, developer communications about Rebirth specifically have been maintenance-only (a UI fix in February 2021, a Simplified Chinese localization in September 2021), with no new content announced or shipped for the game itself.
News posts from December 2022 onward shifted focus entirely to the next entry in the series, Amnesia: The Bunker, which launched in mid-2023. The most recent developer post touching Rebirth (November 12, 2025) announced "Amnesia: Design Works," a physical art-book retrospective covering the entire Amnesia series — a celebratory collectible, not a game update or DLC. This is consistent with a studio looking back on a completed product, not one planning new in-game content.
There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no announced roadmap or future content for Rebirth, and no sustained post-launch content pattern beyond the single Adventure Mode update. The game launched as a finished narrative experience and has remained so. The last meaningful content shipped was Adventure Mode on March 30, 2021.
