Another Try

Another Try launched on April 19, 2020 and was explicitly self-described on its store page as being "in the early stages of development." Despite not being listed as Early Access on Steam, the developer communicated this unfinished status directly to players. The game received a series of major updates through 2020 and into 2021: a feature patch in May 2020, Alpha 0.0.1 in September 2020, Alpha 2.0 in December 2020, and Alpha 3.0 in June 2021. This established an active development cadence of roughly every 3-6 months. The last official communication of any kind was the Alpha 3.0 update post on June 19, 2021. Since that date — now nearly five years ago — there have been no patches, announcements, devlogs, or developer posts of any kind. The store page continues to carry the warning that the game is in early stages of development, and no announcement of completion or conclusion of development has ever been made. Given the game's self-described unfinished state, the prior sustained update cadence, and the extended silence since June 19, 2021, it is unclear whether active development is continuing or the project has been quietly abandoned.
