The Other Side of the Sky is a short, free-to-play text adventure game released on August 28, 2024 — the debut work of indie studio PygmaGame. The base game shipped as a complete single-line narrative of approximately 60,000 words. Following launch, the studio released two DLC packs: a bonus voice DLC on September 6, 2024 (DLC-2), and a New Year's themed story DLC on January 27, 2025 (DLC-1, titled "Year's End · New Year's"). The second story DLC was funded through a crowdfunding campaign that ran in December 2024, with the final content unlocked by backer support. On February 8, 2025, the developer published a patch note explicitly titled "25.2.9 (possibly the last update)" which added crowdfunding backer credits to the DLC. This is a direct developer statement indicating development is complete. Both DLC packs are released and there are no unreleased items on the store. No further content has been announced since that post. The game appears to have concluded its full content cycle, capped off by the developer's own characterization of the February 2025 patch as likely their final update.
