Artifact Seeker: Resurrection

Artifact Seeker: Resurrection launched on July 26, 2024, alongside its first paid DLC, "The Legacy of Mortia." The developer has maintained a steady stream of updates and new content since launch. A second DLC, "Gems and Rifts," arrived in September 2024, adding new game modes and systems. In January and March 2025, the developer publicly shared plans for two more DLCs, which both shipped on May 14, 2025: a free character DLC ("The Wandering Merchant") and a major paid expansion ("The Shadow of Deep Sea"), adding three new playable characters, a new map, new enemies, artifacts, and more. At the time of that May 2025 release, the developer also mentioned that a new survivors-like game mode was still being worked on and would be "finished soon." The developer's most recent communication was a bug fix patch on April 28, 2026, indicating continued engagement with the game. All four listed DLCs are now released, but the developer has not signaled that content development is complete, and the promised new game mode's status remains unclear. The developer also mentioned in January 2025 that they were working on a new game alongside continued Artifact Seeker support, but framed both as ongoing priorities. Given the sustained pattern of major content releases roughly every 6–10 months since launch and no statement of conclusion, the game remains in active post-launch development.
