Core Devourer launched on January 25, 2024. At launch, the developer (IcyQuill / Hubber Studios) announced they were "already working on new, free content" and to "stay tuned for future updates." This was followed by two post-launch patches: a QoL and balance update on February 3, 2024, and a second QoL patch on February 18, 2024. Both mentioned future content in passing, but no specific new content was ever announced or delivered beyond these maintenance updates. The last developer communication of any kind was on February 18, 2024 — over two years ago as of today (June 21, 2026). There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, and no subsequent developer posts confirming ongoing work. The early promise of free content was never backed by a named update, expansion, or roadmap, and the extended silence strongly indicates the game shipped and reached its final state shortly after launch. With no update pattern established beyond initial bug-fix patches and no further developer communication since February 18, 2024, the game appears to have concluded its post-launch support cycle.
