Soulstone Survivors launched into full 1.0 release on June 17, 2025, after roughly two and a half years of Early Access. These include named updates like The Golden Burglar (July 21, 2025), Hammer Time (August 15, 2025), The Skullcrusher (September 26, 2025), The Glacial Watcher (November 26, 2025), The Last Arsenal (March 3, 2026), and most recently Gift of the Veil (June 12, 2026), a one-year anniversary celebration update. Critically, on December 18, 2025, the developer formally announced an upcoming expansion called **Veil of the Soulstones**, describing it as their "biggest announcement in a long time" for the game's future. This expansion has not yet been released, making it a concrete commitment to future content that is still outstanding. The developer has been consistently communicative throughout the game's life, with the most recent post arriving just four days before today's date (June 12, 2026). Game Smithing Limited has explicitly positioned itself as a small independent studio committed to continued development. There is every indication that active work on Veil of the Soulstones is ongoing, and players should expect more content to arrive.
