Atom Zombie Smasher launched on March 14, 2011 as a complete, self-contained strategy game. The developer, Blendo Games, has never announced DLC, expansions, or a content roadmap for the game. Over the years, they have periodically returned to the game with quality-of-life and maintenance updates: an August 2023 patch added hotkeys and fixed mod functionality, and most recently, on January 26, 2026, a 15th Anniversary update delivered further quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and platform compatibility fixes. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and no developer statements suggesting further updates are planned. The anniversary update reads as a celebratory gesture rather than the beginning of a new content cycle.
