Avadon 3: The Warborn launched on September 14, 2016 as the self-described conclusion to the Avadon trilogy — a complete, standalone RPG designed as a finished product from day one. The store description explicitly calls it "the conclusion of the epic Avadon trilogy," making clear this was always intended as the final chapter with no ongoing content cycle planned.
The only DLC available is a hintbook and bonus pack that released alongside the game on September 14, 2016. Following launch, Spiderweb Software issued two small patches — v1.0.1 on October 10, 2016 and v1.0.2 on December 1, 2016 — to address balance and bug issues. After December 2016, developer communication ceased entirely, consistent with a studio that had finished supporting a complete, shipped product and moved on to other projects.
