Queen's Wish: The Conqueror launched on September 11, 2019 as a complete, self-contained RPG. Spiderweb Software has continued to maintain it over the years — most notably with a substantial v1.1 update in October 2021 that completely reworked the creature graphics (art carried over from the funded Queen's Wish 2 Kickstarter), and then a v1.2 update on October 13, 2025 that overhauled the rendering engine with proper monitor scaling, smoother animations, and various fixes.
The only DLC ever listed is a hintbook and bonus pack that released on launch day — no further paid content has been announced or listed. Developer news posts for this game are focused on maintenance and engine improvements rather than new story content.
Spiderweb Software's ongoing activity is directed at other titles in their portfolio: Queen's Wish 2: The Tormentor (a separate sequel game), Geneforge 1 – Mutagen, Geneforge 2 – Infestation, and now Avernum 4: Greed and Glory (announced September 2025 for an October 2025 release). These are all separate games, not additions to Queen's Wish: The Conqueror.
The v1.2 patch in October 2025 confirms the studio is still willing to maintain the game technically, but no new content for this title has been announced or is expected. The game shipped as a complete narrative experience and has remained so.
