BiT Evolution

BiT Evolution launched on June 9, 2015 after a period of Early Access development during which the developer shipped new worlds and features incrementally. The full game — including the final world, achievements, and Steam Trading Cards — was delivered at launch as announced on May 11, 2015. Following the 1.0 release, the developer issued a bug fix post on June 10, 2015 addressing a critical final boss issue, and then a follow-up patch (version 1.01) on June 22, 2015 that resolved those bugs, overhauled Challenge Mode, and cleaned up various game systems. The patch notes mentioned an intent to add "bite-sized challenges back in as a separate mode in a later patch," but this was the last developer communication on record, and no such patch was ever announced or delivered in any subsequent post. No DLC has been listed on the store. There are no unreleased content commitments, no roadmaps, and no developer posts after June 22, 2015. The developer has made no further communication in over a decade. With only a single minor post-launch content mention that was never followed up on, and no sustained update pattern, the game is best understood as a complete, self-contained product that shipped its finished content at launch and received one post-launch maintenance patch shortly after.
