Evaluation
Blueshift is a free-to-play Early Access game that entered Steam Early Access on December 21, 2016. It received a couple of feature updates in January 2017, and on April 15, 2017 the developer posted to reassure the community that the game was "not dead" after a period of silence — noting that game development was a hobby rather than a full-time job. That April 15, 2017 post is the last communication from the developer on record. There have been no updates, patch notes, or announcements of any kind since then — a gap of more than nine years as of today. The game remains listed on Steam in Early Access, meaning it has never reached a 1.0 release. With no developer activity since April 2017 and no indication that development is ongoing, the future of this project is deeply uncertain.
Evidence
Developer posted that Blueshift is 'not dead' after a period of personal life disruptions, acknowledged game development is a hobby, and promised to be more active going forward. This is the last official communication from the developer.
A feature update with new guns and graphics was pushed but quickly rolled back due to crashes. Developer promised a proper update 'soon.'
