Burned Land

Burned Land launched into full release (version 1.0) on August 9, 2021 after a lengthy Early Access period. The developer's launch post on that date described 1.0 as the game reaching "maturity" and expressed optimism about growing it further — but that hopeful statement was made nearly five years ago, and no post-launch content updates for Burned Land have followed. Since August 9, 2021, all developer news posts have been announcements or launches for entirely separate games: The Useless Wizard (Early Access launch October 24, 2025), Empire of Vice: Chicago (Early Access launch January 27, 2026), and Tyrants (announced March 5, 2026, released May 4, 2026). The studio, Koya Game, is clearly still active — but their public communications show they have moved on to new projects rather than continuing to develop Burned Land. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmaps, no announcements of additional content for Burned Land, and no developer statements since launch suggesting further updates are coming. The game shipped as a complete 1.0 product and has received no post-launch content additions. Someone waiting for all content would have found the game complete on its release date of August 9, 2021.
