Evaluation
Capcom Fighting Collection launched on June 23, 2022 as a curated compilation of 10 classic arcade fighting games. Shortly after launch, Capcom issued a substantial quality-of-life update on September 27, 2022 adding colorblind accessibility options, expanded training mode support, and other community-requested features. That update represents the last official communication and content work for this specific collection.
Since then, Capcom's development attention has moved to successor products. MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics launched on September 12, 2024, and Capcom Fighting Collection 2 launched on May 16, 2025 — both are separate standalone collections with their own store pages and post-launch update activity. The news posts referencing those titles are announcements and updates for those products, not for this original collection.
The one DLC listed for this game is the official soundtrack, which is already released. No unreleased DLC exists, no roadmap or future content has been announced, and Capcom has not communicated any plans to add further content to this collection. The game shipped as a complete, fixed set of 10 arcade titles and has been fully supported through its September 2022 update.
