Caveblazers launched on May 24, 2017 and received a healthy run of post-launch content: a major free content update adding local co-op (November 9, 2017), the Arena Expansion DLC (December 15, 2017), a Custom Mode update (May 25, 2018), and ongoing bug-fix patches throughout. The developer then shipped what they explicitly called the "Definitive Edition" update on November 22, 2019, describing it as "the final expansion to Caveblazers." That post laid out a large batch of new items, blessings, daily traits, and arena card reworks, and framed the release as the conclusion of the game's content development. The last official developer communication was a small bug-fix patch on April 27, 2020 tidying up issues introduced by the Definitive Edition update. Both DLC entries — the Soundtrack and the Arena Expansion — are fully released. No unreleased DLC exists on the store, no future content has been announced, and the developer's own words confirm this was the final chapter of the game's development. Caveblazers is a complete, finished product.

Caveblazers is an action focused platformer roguelike set in a fantasy world. Each game is unique with procedurally generated levels to explore and a massive amount of items, weapons and equipment to discover.
The game takes place in a recently discovered cave, said to hold "unimaginable power". You play as an adventurer setting out to explore the cave and find out what riches it holds. However, you are not the only one...
As you delve deeper in to the cave, you'll discover new areas to explore, new weapons and new monsters to try them out on.

Throughout your journey you will encounter AI characters. Some friendly, some hostile. We're using an advanced pathfinding system which means friendly characters will be able to follow you wherever you go, and hostile characters will be able to track you down wherever you hide.
