Cralon

Cralon is a first-person dungeon crawler RPG developed by Pithead Studio — a two-person studio founded by former Gothic/Risen/ELEX developers Jenny and Björn Pankratz. The game was announced in February 2025 and launched on April 17, 2026. Since launch, the developers have been consistently active. They released four numbered updates between April and July 2026: Update 1.0 (April 24) added a parry mechanic and fixed combat bugs; Update 2.0 (May 7) improved controller support; Update 3.0 (June 15) introduced a new font and gameplay refinements; Update 3.1 (June 25) addressed additional bugs; and Update 4.0 (July 20) overhauled the entire game UI. Alongside Update 4.0, the studio announced that Assemble Entertainment has come on board as the official PC publisher, providing marketing and visibility support. The store description presents Cralon as a complete, self-contained narrative experience. There are no DLC listings, no season passes, and no announcements of planned expansions or additional content. The developer has not stated that the game is finished (no "final update" declaration), nor have they announced anything beyond the base game. Given the game launched in April 2026 and has only a four-month post-launch history — much of which has been focused on polish and quality-of-life improvements — there isn't yet enough of a track record to determine whether the studio intends to add new content beyond the base experience. The arrival of a new publisher could signal future promotional or content plans, but no specifics have been communicated.
