Crawling Lab launched on June 16, 2024 and has been consistently updated by solo developer eTIRUe ever since. In the weeks following launch, the developer shipped a rapid succession of feature updates adding new maps, elite enemy variants, special upgrades, and gameplay systems like equipment saving. That pattern continued through 2025 (February 14, 2025, adding new trials and upgrades) and into 2026, with the most recent update on September 4, 2026 — the same day as today's assessment — adding full Korean voice acting performed by a professional cast and new story dialogue for key characters. The developer's closing note in that update explicitly states "We'll continue doing our best to bring you even more fun and enjoyment in the future," signaling ongoing commitment to the game. No conclusion to development has been announced, and the active update history spanning over two years shows no sign of winding down.
