Crushed

Crushed is a first-person open-world survival game that entered Early Access on November 23, 2020, and remains there today. The developer, NipoBox, has been steadily building out the game over the years, shipping major updates at a broad cadence: Alpha 0.0 series updates through 2021, a significant Alpha 1.0 overhaul in December 2022 introducing zombies and a new map, a horde mechanics update in February 2023, and then the large Alpha 1.1.0 release on May 23, 2024 — which added vehicles, an original soundtrack, new points of interest, map expansion, graphical improvements, and more. A small bug-fix patch followed on May 27, 2024. However, as of June 25, 2026, there has been no developer communication of any kind since that May 27, 2024 patch. That is over 25 months of silence — far beyond the 6–12 month cadence the team had historically maintained between major content drops. The game is still in Early Access, meaning it has not reached a finished 1.0 state by the developer's own definition. NipoBox has not announced completion, a 1.0 roadmap, or any future update plans. The extended and unexplained silence raises genuine uncertainty about whether development is continuing.
