Dead Weight

Dead Weight launched on July 16, 2026, after over three years of development by Klukva Games. The game sold over 20,000 copies in its first six days. One week after launch, on July 23, 2026, the developer published a post-launch roadmap detailing how they plan to support the game going forward, compiled from community feedback gathered in the first week. The first post-launch patch (v1.0.2.3) arrived on July 31, 2026, and its notes explicitly stated: "More patches are on the way, followed by an update that will add new content to the game." A second patch (v1.0.3.4) followed on August 21, 2026, continuing to address player-reported issues. On September 17, 2026, the developer released a Supporter Pack (soundtrack and artbook) as optional DLC. Both DLC items are now marked as released. There has been no announcement of the promised content update shipping since the July 31 commitment was made, and no developer communication has walked back those plans. The roadmap and explicit content update promise remain the most recent developer statements on future content, and neither has been superseded.
