Evaluation

Deadburg launched on Steam on March 15, 2022, described as a PC port of the Xbox 360 Indie title. At launch (version 1.5.0), the developer entered an intensive hotfix period, shipping numerous bug fix patches in rapid succession throughout March and April 2022 to address crashes, desyncs, and stability issues. The v1.5.1 and v1.5.2 updates (March 24 and March 31, 2022) added minor quality-of-life features alongside bug fixes. The final patch on record is v1.5.2c on April 25, 2022, which resolved a handful of crash bugs. After that date, there have been no further developer communications of any kind — no patches, no announcements, no roadmaps, and no statements about future content. The store description makes no mention of planned updates, DLC, or additional content. There are no unreleased DLC listings on the store. The game appears to have launched as a complete product, received a short stabilization patch cycle, and then concluded active development. No content beyond what has already shipped has ever been announced or hinted at.
