Deadswitch 3

Deadswitch 3 launched on Steam on May 7, 2021 and received a consistent stream of content updates over several years — new weapons, maps, game modes, heroes, and features arriving regularly through Update 1.6.9 on April 16, 2024. On August 31, 2024, the developer announced that the successor title, Deadswitch Combat, was back under development, and stated that "Deadswitch 3 will still receive updates and new content, but the focus is Deadswitch Combat for the future." Then on September 19, 2025 — when Deadswitch Combat launched in Early Access — the developer published a more definitive statement: DS3 updates "will most likely be performance oriented," signaling the end of new content additions. A September 11, 2026 post promoted account linking between DS3 and Deadswitch Combat, reinforcing that the sequel is now the developer's primary focus. Taken together, the developer's own words make clear that Deadswitch 3's content development has concluded. The game will continue to receive occasional performance maintenance, but no new gameplay content is planned. All five cosmetic DLC packs shipped on May 23, 2021, and no additional DLC has been listed or announced. Update 1.6.9, released on April 16, 2024, was the last substantive content update.
