Deepworld is a massively-multiplayer online crafting game that entered Steam Early Access on April 22, 2015 and never graduated to a full 1.0 release. The developer, Bytebin, posted on September 16, 2019 that the game had been shut down as of August 30, 2019, directing players to a blog post for details and suggesting they follow the studio's Twitter for any future announcements. No further official communications have been made since that September 2019 post. Despite the shutdown announcement, the game's Steam page remains active and purchasable as of today, June 23, 2026 — meaning the servers that made this online-only game functional were shut down, while the storefront listing was never removed. There is no indication from the developer that service has been restored or that development has resumed in the nearly seven years since the shutdown post.

- Deepworld is always online in the cloud, so it's easy to hop on and play with your friends! Follow them in-game and easily find them when you play.
- Mine and craft hundreds of different items with Deepworld's easy inventory system. Place them anywhere in the world to build your very own cityscapes.
- Recover lost pieces of technology to build machines that restore the environment and make your world a more interesting place.
- Use different weapons and protective devices to fight monsters of the deep, mysterious automatons, and other players in PvP.
- Complete objectives to win achievements and earn XP and skill points, which can be used to beef up your character's dexterity, mining ability, and more.
