Deflector: Specimen Zero is no longer available for purchase on Steam — no purchase options exist for the game as of July 23, 2026. The game launched on December 8, 2021 as a free-to-play demo/prologue experience designed to preview the main Deflector game and let players try out the Eradicator character. Developer activity in the news feed runs from December 2021 through March 2022, with the most recent post on March 31, 2022. During that window, the team shipped updates to the progression system and pointed players toward the main Deflector Early Access (launched January 27, 2022) and a second specimen demo (Specimen One, launched February 2022). There have been no developer communications for this title since March 31, 2022. Given that the game was explicitly positioned as a free promotional demo leading into the main Deflector game, and it is no longer purchasable (or in this case, no longer freely accessible) on Steam, the game has effectively been delisted.
