Delta Force — Black Hawk Down: Team Sabre is a standalone expansion pack for Delta Force — Black Hawk Down, originally released in 2003 and made available on Steam on June 18, 2009. It shipped as a complete, self-contained product with two single-player campaigns, 30 multiplayer maps, and new weapons and vehicles. There is no indication that post-launch content was ever planned or delivered — this was a finished expansion at the time of its original release.
The only developer news post scanned (August 28, 2023) announces a brand-new entry in the franchise, Delta Force: Hawk Ops, and has no bearing on Team Sabre's development status. NovaLogic, the original publisher, was acquired by THQ Nordic, and there has been no communication suggesting any updates or new content for Team Sabre. The game has been complete since its original retail release.

The game is a military-based shooter but the missions are fictitious and not based on any actual real events. The expansion follows the Team Sabre Squadron as they are deployed to take out targets and carry out mission objectives in two separate single player campaigns (*approximately 5 missions each) that take place in Columbia and Iran. The multiplayer feature boasts 30 new maps and an enhanced level of mod support for players to build their own unique maps.
The highlight of this expansion pack is that it features lush jungle terrain, never seen before to this extent in a Delta Force game. This also adds an exciting element to gameplay in both the single and multiplayer game.
