DIRT 5 launched on November 5, 2020 and received a steady stream of post-launch content updates throughout its first year. Codemasters shipped seven major content drops: a free festive Snow Limits pack in December 2020, the Energy Content Pack in February 2021, the Uproar Content Pack in April 2021, a free Red Bull Revolution update in May 2021, the Super Size Content Pack in July 2021, the Wild Spirits Content Pack in September 2021, and a free Halloween-themed Playgrounds update on October 1, 2021. All eight DLC items listed on the store are released, with the last one (Wild Spirits Pack) dated September 1, 2021. The Year 1 Upgrade (DLC-8) bundles the year's content, which is itself a signal that the planned post-launch content cycle has concluded. The last developer communication of any kind was the Halloween update post on September 30, 2021 — there have been no news posts, patches, or announcements since that date. The developer established a cadence of roughly one major content drop every 4–8 weeks during the Year 1 cycle, and that cycle has now been silent since September 30, 2021 — nearly five years with no communication. The "Year 1 Upgrade" bundle framing strongly implies the post-launch content roadmap was scoped to one year and has concluded. No future content has been announced, no unreleased DLC exists on the store, and the developer has not posted any updates since the Halloween patch. The game appears to have shipped as a complete package with its planned Year 1 content fully delivered.
