In October 2024, Neon Doctrine announced Doors of Insanity: ReOpened — described as a "total reimagining" of the original — with a playtest in January 2025 and a full release on February 20, 2025. Owners of the original game were promised a free copy of ReOpened. The original game's page has since been delisted, meaning it can no longer be purchased.
