Dream Car Builder graduated from Early Access to a full 1.0 release on September 21, 2018, after approximately two years of Early Access development. At the time of the full release, the developer stated that all promised Early Access features had been implemented, but also noted this was "not a final version" and that they had "lots of plans about game improvements." Following the 1.0 launch, a series of feature patches shipped through late 2018, and then on January 14, 2019, multiplayer support was added — the last identifiable major content release. Since that January 2019 multiplayer update, there are no further developer communications, feature patches, or content announcements visible in the post history. The most recent developer activity dates to January 14, 2019, and the game has been silent for over seven years since then. There is no unreleased DLC listed, no announced roadmap, and no developer statements promising future content. The game launched as a finished product after its Early Access phase and received one post-launch content addition (multiplayer) before going quiet. The content appears complete as of the multiplayer release in January 2019.
