DubWars

DubWars launched on July 19, 2016 as a completed 10-level arcade shooter. Prior to launch, the team published updates during Early Access covering all 10 levels, three difficulty modes, achievements, leaderboards, and ship upgrades — the full feature set described in the store page. On October 31, 2016, the developer teased a new DLC level arriving in November 2016. On December 29, 2016, the developer posted a holiday message stating "2017 will bring more levels and improvements to the game overall." That December 2016 post is the last recorded developer communication. No DLC was ever listed on the store, and there is no subsequent announcement, patch, or update confirming that the promised additional level or 2017 improvements were ever delivered. The promised DLC content was never formally listed as a store product and no follow-up communication confirmed its release. Since December 29, 2016 — nearly a decade ago — the developer has posted nothing. Given this prolonged silence with no evidence of any post-launch content having shipped beyond the base game, the game is best understood as having launched as a complete product. The November 2016 DLC teaser and the 2017 content promise were never fulfilled and were never listed as purchasable store items.
