Freedom Finger launched on September 27, 2019. After release, the developer shipped one major free content update — the Rhymesayers Update on March 24, 2020 — which added new levels featuring original music by Aesop Rock, along with gameplay rebalancing and accessibility improvements. A soundtrack DLC was released on April 7, 2020. The game received additional polish patches through mid-2020, and a Mac port launched on August 3, 2020. That Mac release represents the last developer communication on record. Since August 3, 2020, Wide Right Interactive has not posted any updates, announcements, or communications about Freedom Finger. No further content has been announced, no unreleased DLC exists on the store, and the developer has not indicated any future plans. With only one major post-launch content update across the game's history and a silence stretching back to August 3, 2020, the game appears to have been a complete, finished product since that date.
