Eidolon

Eidolon launched on August 1, 2014 as a narrative exploration game. The developer shipped one content update on October 30, 2014 adding new documents, characters, story threads, and a new region (the Kitsap Peninsula). That appears to be the last content work done on the game itself. Since then, the Ice Water Games team has moved on to other projects: posts from 2019 through 2021 announce entirely separate games (Tenderfoot Tactics, Stones of Solace, Pattern, and Wildflower: From the Embers), all developed by members of the original Eidolon team. None of these posts mention any returning content or updates for Eidolon. The store description presents the game as a complete, self-contained experience with no indication of additional content planned. The last communication that touched on Eidolon at all was October 2021, and it was an announcement for a new unrelated game. The game launched as a finished product and received one post-launch content update before the team shifted focus to new titles — Eidolon's content has been complete since October 31, 2014.
