Elypse

Elypse is a self-contained 2D story-driven platformer that launched on PC on May 17, 2023, followed by a console release (PS5 and Nintendo Switch) on August 2, 2023. The developer, Hot Chili Games, described the game as "GOLD" prior to launch (April 26, 2023), indicating it was shipped as a complete, finished product. Since launch, the developer has issued a series of bug fix and quality-of-life patches (up through October 2023 security update and a February 2025 bug fix patch), and released a soundtrack DLC on December 31, 2025. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced expansions or additional story content, and no post-launch roadmap of any kind. The developer has never indicated that further content was planned beyond routine maintenance. The only DLC listed — the official soundtrack — is a cosmetic/companion product that does not represent game content. The last substantive developer communication was a security fix posted on October 10, 2025. There is no pattern of major content updates: the two "major content" signals in the post history represent the PC launch and console port, not post-launch expansions. All evidence points to Elypse having launched as a complete, standalone game with no further content planned. The game's post-launch history has been maintenance only, consistent with a finished product receiving routine upkeep.
