ENDLESS Space 2 launched in May 2017 and received a steady run of paid DLC through May 2021, when Dark Matter shipped as the last commercial expansion. Since then, Amplitude Studios has continued to update the game through a community-collaborative model, contracting dedicated community members to work alongside the studio on meaningful patches. The most recent major update — Community Patch 1.5.75 — shipped on December 15, 2025, following a public beta that opened on October 30, 2025. It delivered an extensive set of AI improvements, ground combat rebalancing, and Nakalim faction fixes. The December 15, 2025 announcement closed with "See you all next year," signaling the developer's intent to remain engaged with the game. Before that, the Re-Awakening Update shipped on March 7, 2024, overhauling space combat balance, significantly reworking the Nakalim faction, and expanding Academy diplomacy — another substantial community-collaborative effort. This establishes a clear pattern of major updates roughly once per year (March 2024, December 2025). As of today (October 8, 2026), it has been approximately ten months since the last major update, which is within the roughly 12-month interval seen between these updates. No developer communication has announced an end to support or indicated that no further updates are planned. Amplitude also noted in November 2024 that the studio had regained its independence from Sega, with its founder explicitly stating the team is "committed to creating the best games possible" — no distress signals have gone unresolved. All 21 DLC entries are released with no unreleased items listed on the store.

ENDLESS Space™ 2 is a Strategic Space Opera set in a mysterious universe.

Your story unfolds in a galaxy that was first colonized by God-like beings known as the “ENDLESS”, who rose and fell eons ago. All that remains of them are mystical ruins, powerful artifacts, and a strange, near-magical substance known as Dust.

One More Turn

ENDLESS Space™ 2 takes the classic “one more turn” formula to new heights. You will explore mysterious star systems, discover the secrets of ancient races, build colonies on distant planets, exploit trade routes, develop advanced technologies of unthinkable power; and, of course encounter new life forms to understand, to court or to conquer.

As a leader, you have to manage your populations like never before as they react dynamically to your decisions and to their environment, expressing their will through political parties, dictating the laws that your Senate can pass.
