Master of Orion

Master of Orion launched out of Early Access on August 25, 2016. At launch, the developer (NGD Studios / Wargaming) published an enthusiastic post-release roadmap committing to multiple free patches, mod support, minor civilizations, and multiplayer custom races — all of which were subsequently delivered in updates through late 2016 and into 2017. The game received two major content releases after launch: the "Revenge of Antares" race pack DLC on December 1, 2016 (NEWS-2), which added three new playable races and a sweeping gameplay overhaul, and a series of feature patches through April 2017 covering mod support (NEWS-4), AI improvements, balance changes, and bug fixes (NEWS-5, NEWS-7, NEWS-9). The final developer communication on record is a March 12, 2020 bug fix patch adding Chinese language support (NEWS-1). Since March 12, 2020, there have been no further developer communications of any kind — no patches, no blog posts, no announcements. The news archive spans 49 posts, with all major content and feature activity concentrated between August 2016 and April 2017. No unreleased DLC appears in the store listing, and the store description does not reference any upcoming content. The developer has not announced any future content or ongoing development plans.
