On April 30, 2025, Saber Interactive officially announced that Evil Dead: The Game has been removed from digital storefronts. The developer confirmed the delisting process had begun and stated that existing owners can continue to play, with servers planned to remain online. The game is no longer available for purchase — this is confirmed by the store data showing no purchase options are currently available. The Game of the Year Edition, which bundled the base game with all 6 DLC packs, was the final content release, having launched on April 26, 2023 when the game arrived on Steam. No further content was developed after that point, and the April 2025 announcement makes clear that development has concluded and the game is being wound down commercially.
