Evaluation

F1® 23 is no longer available for purchase on Steam — the game has been removed from the storefront, which is standard practice for Codemasters' annual F1 series once the next year's title launches. The game released on June 15, 2023, and received a series of patches and updates throughout its active life. The most significant post-launch update was on October 16, 2023, which added the full F2 2023 season roster and a mid-season Sports Update with team livery and sponsor refreshes. Prior to that, patches in July and August 2023 added features like F1 Replay events, AI drivers for League Racing, and driver roster changes reflecting the real-world 2023 season. After October 2023, all developer communications shifted focus to F1® 24 (launched May 31, 2024) and subsequently F1® 25 (launched May 30, 2025, with a 2026 Season Edition following on June 8, 2026). No further updates to F1® 23 were communicated after the October 2023 content drop.
