Evaluation
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon launched on May 1, 2013 as a standalone, self-contained game — a single-player experience with a complete story. It was never designed as a platform for ongoing content, and no DLC, expansions, or post-launch content were ever announced or released for it. The store description makes no mention of additional content, seasons, or updates beyond the base game experience.
The only developer activity since launch has been technical maintenance: a Ubisoft Connect installer update on November 29, 2021, and the addition of Steam Achievements on February 11, 2025 — a platform feature addition with no new gameplay content. There have been no announcements of future content, no roadmaps, and no unreleased DLC listings. The game shipped as a complete, finished product on its release date.
Evidence
Store description presents the game as a complete, self-contained standalone shooter with no mention of additional content, DLC, or ongoing updates.
Steam Achievements added with automatic sync from Ubisoft Connect — a platform feature update, not new gameplay content.
