Evaluation
Fate Seeker II launched on November 22, 2021 as a complete RPG. Its only major post-launch content was a free update on March 31, 2022 called "陌刀門" (Modao Gate), which added new areas, characters, martial arts styles, and gameplay challenges. Following that, the game received only bug-fix and minor maintenance patches through mid-2022, then went largely quiet until June 26, 2025, when the developer added official English language support along with visual and performance improvements.
The single DLC in the store listing is a music collection that shipped on launch day (November 22, 2021) and is fully released. There are no unreleased DLC items.
In the September 30, 2025 sale announcement, the developer confirmed that Fate Seeker III is currently in development — but this is a new, separate game in the series, not additional content for Fate Seeker II. No further content for Fate Seeker II itself has been announced or implied. The June 26, 2025 patch note closed with "more updates and optimizations are on the way," which refers to maintenance-level improvements rather than new content (it accompanied a language support patch).
With one major content update shipped in March 2022 and no subsequent major releases or announcements of additional content for Fate Seeker II, the game's content appears complete as of that March 2022 update.
Evidence
Free major content update (version 2.0.2) shipped, adding the Modao Gate storyline, four new areas, new martial arts styles, new challenges, and gameplay features.
The only DLC — a music collection — was released on launch day. No unreleased DLC items exist.
