Evaluation
Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 launched on December 14, 2023 as a complete VR experience. The store description presents the game as a fully featured package with no mention of upcoming DLC, seasonal content, or planned additions. In the period following launch, Steel Wool Studios issued several bug fix patches addressing VR headset compatibility, black screen issues, and controller input problems. The most recent developer communication was a December 2024 patch (dated December 2, 2024) that added haptic feedback and collision improvements alongside further bug fixes. There have been no major content updates since launch, no announcements of upcoming expansions or DLC, and no roadmap published. The game's five news posts are entirely maintenance-focused. Steel Wool Studios has not communicated any plans for additional content, and the game's store page describes a self-contained experience with no references to future additions. The game shipped as a finished product and has received only maintenance support since release.
