Frog Detective 1: The Haunted Island

Frog Detective 1: The Haunted Island launched on November 22, 2018 as a short, self-contained mystery adventure. The developer released one paid DLC — the original soundtrack — on December 18, 2019, which is the only additional content tied to this specific entry in the series. The broader Frog Detective series continued with a second game (December 2019) and a third (announced July 2021). In June 2024, the developer confirmed that the entire trilogy was released as a bundled console collection called "Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery," and noted that Grace Bruxner was "taking a big break from everything" and "enjoying living in a post-Frog Detective world," with collaborator Tom working on separate projects. This is a clear signal that the series — and by extension this first game — is considered complete. In May 2025, a Japanese localization was added, which reflects ongoing localization work rather than new gameplay content. There is no unreleased DLC, no announced future content for this game, and the developer has explicitly communicated that work on the Frog Detective series has concluded. The game was designed and released as a short, finished product, and all associated content has shipped.
