Evaluation

Frozen Cortex launched on February 19, 2015 after an Early Access period (originally titled Frozen Endzone). The developer, Mode 7, shipped several substantial updates both before and after the 1.0 release: a large single-player update on January 30, 2015 (adding Knockout mode, Global Cortex League, and story content), and the Manager Mode free update on April 30, 2015. The final item to ship was the "Pay To Lose" DLC on October 30, 2015 — a humorous cosmetic pack. All four DLC items in the store listing are marked as released, with no unreleased content remaining. There have been no developer posts indicating plans for additional content beyond what has already shipped, no roadmaps pointing to future updates, and no communication from Mode 7 about further development of this title. The game's store description presents it as a feature-complete product. Based on the post-launch update history, October 30, 2015 marks the last content addition, and no further development activity has been signaled since.
